Couples therapy
for Palos Verdes
About a 20 to 25 minute drive down Palos Verdes Boulevard and onto Pacific Coast Highway. Long enough to think through the week and what needs addressing, and short enough that a standing appointment stays realistic.

The Practice
This practice is built around couples work, and that focus is intentional. Relationship distress is rarely simple. It shows up as constant conflict, emotional distance, betrayal, sexual disconnection, or the painful experience of circling the same argument for years. Those are the presenting problems. What is driving them is often deeper than the argument itself, and it takes both clinical precision and real experience to identify it.
Before clinical practice, I spent 19 years as an investment banker, attorney, and technology executive. Many of the couples who come here are carrying the weight of demanding professional lives privately. I understand those pressures from the inside, and I bring that perspective into the room.
Areas couples often need help with
This practice works with couples at every stage, from those hoping to strengthen a good relationship to those facing serious questions about what comes next.
How I Work
If you have tried couples therapy before and found it passive, you will find this practice different. I am fully engaged, direct, and present in every session. I share observations, challenge what is not working, and offer perspective grounded in clinical training and real experience with the full range of what couples bring in.
Sessions
Weekly sessions run 55 minutes. For couples who cannot wait for weekly sessions, or whose schedules will not hold a standing hour, intensives run 90 minutes, three hours, or six. Formats are on the couples therapy intensives page, and current rates are listed under fees on the FAQ page. All of the services offered at the office are also available virtually.
